Welcome to Peerdweb's blockchain service. These terms of use ("Terms") govern your use of our Service accessible through our website https://peerdweb.io. By using our Service, you ("User" or "you") agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use the Service.
1.1 Peerdweb enables Users to upload a file in any format ("File") to secure a blockchain timestamp on either the Ethereum or Polygon blockchains. Our service does not store or retain copies of the uploaded Files. Once timestamped, Users can access and download a certificate of the blockchain timestamp directly within the application, which serves as proof of the File's origin and ownership.
2.1 To use the Service, you may create a User account by providing your email address and creating a password. Alternatively, you can log in via Google.
2.2 You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account login information and for all activities that occur under your account.
3.1 Users can choose from the following subscription plans:
3.2 Monthly Subscriptions: Subscriptions are on a rolling monthly basis. Users may cancel their subscription by providing 28 days' notice.
3.3 Annual Subscriptions: Users can opt for an annual payment plan.
3.4 Cancellation Policy: Monthly and annual subscribers must give 28 days' notice to cancel their subscription.
4.1 You retain all ownership rights to the Files you upload for timestamping. We claim no intellectual property rights over your Files.
5.1 You must ensure that you have the right to upload the File and obtain a blockchain timestamp for it. You agree not to upload any copyrighted, confidential, or unlawful content.
5.2 You understand and agree that once you upload the File, we won't store it on our servers. It is your responsibility to keep a copy of the File if you wish to validate its timestamp later.
5.3 You must not alter the File after obtaining the blockchain timestamp if you intend to use it as proof of its validity.
5.4 You shall not use the Service for any illegal practices, including but not limited to fraud, infringement, or any activity that violates applicable laws or regulations.
6.1 The blockchain timestamping process on Ethereum or Polygon is subject to their respective blockchain rules and regulations. The immutability and permanence of timestamps are based on the blockchain's consensus mechanisms.
6.2 The timestamp is reflective of the blockchain transaction time, which may differ from your upload time.
7.1 We collect and process personal data as described in our Privacy Policy.
7.2 By using the Service, you consent to the collection and processing of your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
